Follow the steps below to repair Windows automatically:

Turn off the PC . Disconnect any USB flash drive or hard drive you may have connected and make sure there is no CD in the CD player.

Turn on the PC and press the F8 key several times in succession until the Advanced Startup Options (as shown in the image above) are displayed. You have to be fast. If Windows starts to load, you must restart the PC and try again. If F8 does not work and you cannot enter the boot options try to repair Windows from a CD or USB as shown in the following tab.

Use the up or down arrow keys on your keyboard to choose “Repair the device” if it is not the option you have selected.

Press the “Enter” key on your keyboard.

Wait. Windows 11 will load a series of files and you should not do anything until a window appears on a blue background.

Check that “Your language” is selected as the keyboard language . If not, click on the drop-down list and choose it.

Press “Next.”

Repair Windows 11 from a CD or USB

If the method on the previous tab did not work to repair your Windows, then follow these instructions. You will need only one of these three things:

The Windows 11 installation / recovery CD: does the PC you want to fix have no CD player? Create a bootable Windows USB from them.

CD repair system: Believe it on any PC with Windows 11. Use known equipment to do if your Windows does not work.  Create a CD or USB Repair

An ISO image of Windows: click on this link to create a Windows 11 CD / USB from your ISO.

To do the repair

You get a Windows CD or USB in any of the above ways. Use it this way:

Configure your PC to boot from the installation or repair CD or USB .

Right away:

If you are using a CD: wait for a message similar to “Press any key to start from the CD”. Hurry up to press the key because if you take too long the PC will not boot from it. In that case restart the computer and try again.

If you are using a USB: a message may or may not appear, depending on how you created it (maybe the message is in English). If the message comes out that you press a key, do so; If you don’t press it in time, restart the PC and try again. If you don’t see any message, wait without doing anything for the PC to boot from the USB.

Wait. Windows loads your files and it can take several minutes. Do not do anything until you see a window to choose your language (like the image above).

Verify that “Your language” appears in the three drop-down lists in that window. Choose it if necessary. Press “Next” when finished.

Locate the “Repair the equipment” link on the bottom left. Click on it to access the recovery tools.

What windows fix

Repair tools search where Windows 11 is installed on your PC. A window shows the name of the local disk drive that contains it (C :, D :, E :, etc.) and the space on it (such as in the image). Follow the instructions below:

Click on the option “Use recovery tools that can help you …”.

Click on the central field in the installation of Windows 11 that you want to fix and press “Next.” If the field is empty and no Windows appears, proceed with “Next” directly.

Select the form of repair

Click on “Startup Repair.” Maybe the PC will restart. In that case you must remove the Windows CD or USB you are using, so that the PC does not start from them and follow the automatic repair after the restart.

Different things can happen depending on what prevents Windows from starting correctly:

The fault is resolved automatically.

The repair tool offers solutions that you must manually confirm to run. Follow those instructions.

The “Startup Repair” finds no fault or fails to fix it.

At the end of the process a window appears informing about the result, whether it has been successful or not. Click on it Finish . The PC will restart or you will return to the system recovery options window before.

Try other tools to repair Windows if the automatic has failed.

These are other Windows recovery tools other than automatic and the one that starts from CD or USB:

Restore the system

This solution is useful especially when Windows does not start with a defective driver or a badly installed program. With system restore you can make Windows return at a time earlier than when you installed that program.

Clicking on this recovery option starts the wizard to restore the system . This is almost the same as the one you can run within Windows 11. Choose a time (restore point) when you are sure that Windows did work well.

System Image Recovery

You can only use this tool if you created a special type of backup of your PC before your Windows failed; This is the so-called system image. This option makes Windows return just as it was at the time it was created.

Connect the hard drive or insert the DVD where the system image is stored before clicking on that option. Then follow the instructions of the assistant.

Create a backup with Windows Easy Transfer

Windows memory diagnostic

Sometimes the system does not boot or malfunctions due to problems with the PC’s RAM. This tool allows you to check it. If you choose, a new window appears in which you must select that you want to restart your PC at that time; This is how the check is done.

Remember that for the diagnosis to be made you have to change the boot sequence so that the PC starts from the hard drive and not from the installation or repair CD or USB. If you are not sure how to do it, just remove the Windows CD / USB before restarting for the RAM check.

Symbol of the system

Through it you can recover data from your PC even if Windows does not boot (your files and folders). Get them safe on an external device, such as a USB flash drive or disk.

If all these attempts fail you always have the option to reinstall Windows 11.
